Emmanuel Eboue, former Arsenal star, remarries after divorce that left him broke
The 37-year-old was not too long ago divorced by his Belgian wife Aurelie Bertrand which saw him lose most of his his properties and investments.The custody of his three children was also given to the European lady while the footballer was left with virtually nothing after years of playing time in the continent.
He has however moved on from the disappointment as friend and families gathered round the star as he tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday in the Cote d’Ivoire.
According to Kahawu Tungu, an Ivorian outlet, Eboue and Stephanie were lovers during his reign at ASEC Mimosas. But after his move to Europe, he met the Belgian.Meanwhile, Eboue decided to keep his recent wedding on low key owing to all he has been through recently.
The former Arsenal star made a total of 465 appearances for club and country, scoring 22 goals including 33 assists.
He was offered a coaching role at Galatasaray when news broke that he had contemplated su'icide.
