Stakeholders across the country, yesterday, expressed strong reservation and, sometimes, condemnation over the shift      of the presidential andNational Assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.  Buhari-Atiku  Interestingly, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, and their campaign support groups, in separate reactions, accused the election management body of working in cahoots with either of the two major political parties.

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Bola Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to remain committed and not allow the election postponement deter them from exercising their rights on Feb. 23. Tinubu made the call in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Lagos by his Media Officer, Mr Tunde Rahman.  Presidential and National Assembly elections slated for Feb. 16 were shifted till Feb. 23 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, hours to the commencement of the polls.  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu 

Police nab 3 over highway robbery in Enugu

The police command in Enugu State has arrested three suspected highway robbers operating along the Enugu-Port Harcourt Road. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said in a statement issued on Sunday that the suspects were arrested on Feb. 15 at about 8p.m.
